An increase to the carbon tax this summer should be delayed, according to Roscommon Sinn Féin TD Claire Kerrane.
The tax is due to rise from May 1st, something that will add around 19 euro to the cost of a tank of home heating oil.
The government is set to unveil a series of measures this week to help combat the spiralling cost of living.
