Local TD congratulates school on approved application for new classroom

A local TD has welcomed an injection of funding for a Leitrim based school.
The Minister for Education, Norma Foley, recently announced the funding for the Hunt School in Mohill.
The successful application will provide for a new mainstream general classroom funded under the 'additional school accommodation programme'.

Sligo-Leitrim TD Frank Feighan says he hopes that work on procurement can be progressed as fast as possible, and that work on the classroom is completed by the end of this year.
He congratulated the board of management and the school principal on their successful application.
