A local TD has slammed plans to temporarily relocate the Air Ambulance in Athlone to Dublin next month. Sinn Féin Deputy Claire Kerrane says moving the service for a period of six to eight weeks was 'unacceptable'. The re-location is due to structural repair work at the Air Ambulance hangar in Athlone.
