A Sligo-Leitrim TD has made the decision to move house because of security concerns.
It follows a number of incidents at the home of Sinn Féin deputy, Martin Kenny.
One incident in 2019 saw the deputy's car burned while the most recent incident saw a car crash through the gates of his house while his wife was home alone.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan show, Deputy Kenny says that moving to a new location will give him and his family a fresh start.
The sensible thing for us to do right now is for us to move from here.
I suppose it's been the trauma of it, it's the difficulty of something like this when it happens.
I'm sure 100s if not 1000s of your listeners out there have had various incidents happen in their home, maybe it's a burglary or something has happened.
It's a trauma and it is difficult to overcome so I think the way to do that is to move house and have a fresh start in that context, in that sense.
