A local Sinn Féin TD has raised the issue of the lack of Garda presence in Ballaghaderreen to the Taoiseach. Roscommon-Galway TD Claire Kerrane spoke in the Dáil yesterday and called for a rural Garda plan to ensure an adequate allocation of Gardaí in the town.
