The government is committed to help families tackle the rising cost of living and has begun the process of planning for that this week.

Speaking on the Let's Talk show today he said the government has already allocated €2.5 billion euro in additional supports so far this year, but recognises that a lot more is needed.
He says widespread consultation will be needed to target those people most in need, and that process has now begun.
