A local Independent TD says she's likely to vote no confidence in the Government next week.
On Wednesday the Labour Party will table a motion of no confidence in the coalition following its refusal not to extend the evictions ban.
Deputy Marian Harkin says while she doesn't want to see a General Election at this time she insists she will take every vote as it comes.
The local TD voted with Sinn Fein to see the eviction ban extended and speaking on the Joe Finnegan Show earlier she emphasized the need for more modular housing.
'Given my vote this week it is likely I will vote no confidence but I have to take everything as it comes.
I put forward a number of amendments to the motion and one of the amendments I put forward and I wish government would look at it is that we would have the same flexibility for local departments as government departments to build these modular homes to upgrade existing housing for everybody but it wasn't dealt with.'
