A local TD has taken aim at the Government and the ESB for their response to Storm Éowyn. Sinn Féin's Claire Kerrane took aim at recent comments made by ESB CEO Paddy Hayes. She said it was unacceptable that homes across the region were left without power for 18 days and that the responsibility lay with the State body. ESB Networks confirmed today that the remaining 200 homes left without power would see restoration this evening. However, Deputy Kerrane says the treatment of paying customers hasn't been good enough:
