Roscommon TDs have renewed calls in Dail Eireann for urgent action to alleviate flooding around Lough Funshinagh.
Addressing Minister for the Office of Public Works, Keiran O'Donnell yesterday evening in the chamber, all three deputies shared time to raise the issue.
Responding to Deputy Denis Naughten, Claire Kerrane and Michael Fitzmaurice, Minister O'Donnell says he will be meeting with the Attorney General again in the coming weeks over a legal solution to the flooding in South Roscommon.
Yesterday it was confirmed that the Tánaiste will visit the area at the end of May, with local and national representatives working on the issue in the meantime.
