The local tourism industry may be impacted by ongoing industrial action by Aer Lingus pilots, according to a local hotelier. Ciaran Kelly, General Manager at The Landmark Hotel in Carrick-on-Shannon, says some guests have voiced concerns already.
He said any strike action would inevitably affect travellers due to the number of flight cancellations. Mr Kelly's comments come ahead of a meeting between pilots union IALPA and Aer Lingus tomorrow to try and resolve the dispute over pay.
