A local university is set to hold it's open evening later today. The Technological University of the Shannon will host it's open evening event from 6-8pm at it's Athlone Campus.
TUS say that the event aims to provide Leaving Certificate and mature students with valuable insights into the academic and extracurricular offerings at the University. Speaking to Shannonside FM News, TUS Student Recruitment Officer Claire Connor explained the importance for students to attend open days:
