Western Front Studios and Granlahan Tidy Village are joining forces to produce a film about an ancient church in Roscommon THIS week.
The short film aims to highlight the importance of Kiltullagh hill in Granlahan to the community and its diaspora.
Granlahan Tidy Village committee member Sean McGuire is inviting people to participate in the making of the film on Sunday the 28th next from half past two.
He says the community is really looking forward to working with Ballinlough Director Diarmuid Winston on this creative project.
'Everyone is welcome from Ballyhaunis, Castlerea, Cloonfad, Ballinlough, Granlahan.
Sunday the 28th of May from 2.30 onwards we're going to start the filming.
We're going to have the annual Killtullagh Hill mass, Fr. Joe Feeney, our local parish priest will be celebrating the mass.
The only condition that we ask people not to wear crazy, bright or fluorescent colours.
The people of the community are getting really enthusiastic about it and hopefully it will run smoothly.'
