London GAA are leading the tributes to Leitrim native and chairman of Tara GAA club Proinnsias Redican who has passed away.
The Fenagh native was one of the most well-known Leitrim men in the UK capital, having moved over in the 1950s.
He celebrated his 89th birthday last week and was well-known for offering help to any emigrants who made the trip across the Irish Sea.
Earlier this year he presented the match ball to the referee in London's most recent Connacht Championship tie against Leitrim and served in many different roles for both club and county over the years.

Sean Faughnan is a former chairman of Tara GAA club in London.
He says the Leitrim man and his wife Mary were very generous to any Irish people who came to London over the decades:
"He was very helpful to any young Irishman or young woman who came to London, they were very helpful getting them off the ground, getting them accommodation, and also getting them work, that was the drive behind the two of them. They always looked after anyone who came. It didn't matter if they played football with Tara or whatever club. They were always very helpful to any Irish person who came over.
