The government has refused to commit to providing financial help to the businesses affected by the Longford town fire.
Junior Minister Dara Calleary visited the site of Sunday's blaze in Grafton Court today, to assess the damage.
Over 60 staff are out of work, 13 businesses have closed, and several million euro worth of damage was caused.
Minister Calleary was not able to commit to providing state money for those affected.
Over 100,000 euro in damage was caused to Pauline Belton's hair salon, called Grafters Hair Company.
She attended a private meeting with the Minister in Longford County Council offices this afternoon, which she said was positive.
She is calling for emergency funding for those affected by the fire - like for towns affected by flooding.
