Longford businesses are standing firm in the face of challenges brought on by the pandemic and the cost of living crisis.
That's according to Longford Chamber of Commerce President Fiona Fenlon, who says local businesses have developed an impressive robustness following the lessons of the last 3 years.
Business Groups are registering both an increase in the price of goods and a drop in consumer spending, leading to higher overheads and less profit.
The Chamber will host a free information hearing tomorrow evening ahead of the introduction of a new business only text alert scheme and county wide gift voucher programme.
The event will take place from 6.30 tomorrow evening at Longford Rugby Club and is open to all businesses in the county.
