Longford CF campaigner Jillian McNulty says she may have to be admitted into hospital as a result of her getting Covid.
Jillian, who's also on the waiting list for a kidney says she also has to be taken off the list for three months after her positive test.
The Longford woman says she had felt weaker than usual in recent weeks and even though several antigen tests had shown negative, she knew something was off.
She says she had dreaded the thought of getting Covid and was upset when a PCR test came back positive recently.
Speaking on the Let's Talk show today Jillian says she may yet have to be admitted to hospital for treatment , after an almost two year absence.
'I've dialysis in the morning in Dublin and then I've a CF check-up after that , so I'll be going with a case, cos I've a feeling they might just want to keep me.
It's two years next week since I've needed an admission so it's like 'Oh My God' , I'm in competition with myself!
I don't really want to be going in because I've never had two years out of hospital, but look, obviously as you know, I'm waiting for a kidney, now because I've caught Covid I'm suspended, off the transplant list for three months , so even if the call came I can't go.'
