The Courts Service has moved to reduce the number of people who will be required to attend Longford Circuit court today.
All accused persons and their representatives are not required in court today, as all matters are expected to be adjourned until the start of next month.
According to a statement issued by the Courts Service, Judge Johnson will sit in Longford today, to hear the call over list of criminal proceedings.
It is proposed to adjourn all matters save those that can be dealt with through remote hearings to 1 February with a review taking place on 26 January to determine what cases if any can proceed in February.
Criminal matters suitable for a remote hearing will be allocated hearing slots today.
