A Longford coach operator says he believes there may have to be yet another U-turn on school bus transport and Covid-19 regulations.
There was anger among some people in recent weeks when it was announced that schools buses would run at full capacity for students when schools re-open next week.
The government rowed back on that yesterday saying that they were being advised to run the buses at 50% capacity in line with other public transport.
Liam Farrelly from Farrelly's coaches in Kenagh says he can't see 50% capacity working because there aren't enough buses and drivers available to double the runs.
He says they had been organising to run at full capacity next week and they have been completely thrown by this latest development…
