Longford Fianna Fail Councillor Uruemu Adejinmi is condemning the delivery of what she's described as "hate mail" to houses in Longford and other areas over recent days.
Copies of newspapers have been shoved through letterboxes of houses in the town with articles claiming that Ireland is being "blackened" by immigrants.
The Fianna Fail Councillor says with everyone feeling more vulnerable as a result of the pandemic, this development has caused a lot of hurt and upset in the immigrant community.
