A Longford councillor says he'll run for the Seanad in order to give a voice to farmers in the constituency.
Fine Gael's Paraic Brady said he would look for a place on the Agriculture Panel to advocate for people living in rural Ireland.
The Drumlish man says he made the decision due to the number of concerns raised during General Election canvassing in Longford-Westmeath.
