Longford County Council has begun inviting submissions for the development of a new civic centre in the town.
Plans for a new centre in the northern quarter of the town are part of the recently announced 10.4 million euro in urban regeneration development funding announced for Longford.
The major funding project aims to create a new Camlin Quarter on the riverbank in the town, using council-owned land.
The local authority is seeking proposals for community, social and economic developments that would help rejuvenate the town across a range of sectors.
Submissions to the council will close on Wednesday the 26th of May.
