The Covid vaccination centre at Clonguish in Longford closed today as part of the reduction of vaccinations centres across the country.
The HSE says due to a large reduction in the numbers of people presenting to the centres nationally they've taken the decision to close centres in Longford, Offaly and Westmeath.
The centre at Clonguish has administered a total of just under 44,000 vaccinations since it first opened,
The centre at Moate in Westmeath will close on Wednesday the 8th of June, and the centre at Mucklagh in Offaly will close on next Tuesday the 24th of May.
The HSE says several GP practices and pharmacies in the three counties will continue to provide vaccinations.
