Padraic Davis has been re-appointed as manager of the Longford Senior football team for another 2 years.
The former forward with the County was handed the Bainisteoirs bib in September of 2018 and has maintained the County's Division 3 status while been unlucky not to have featured in been promoted in what is a very competitive division.
From a championship perspective in 2019, a high scoring draw with Kildare in the provincial quarter final was followed up by a loss to the Lilywhites in the replay before making it to round 2 of the qualifiers where they were beaten by Tyrone.
The more condensed championship this year, seen them account for Louth in the preliminary round before going down to Laois in the quarter final by 2 points.
The Division 3 league campaign seen the side with 3 wins, 3 losses and 1 draw and finish in 4th place on 7 points 2 off a promotion spot.
