Female entrepreneurs from across the Shannonside region are being urged to sign up for a free business development initiative.
The ACORNS programme supports early-stage female entrepreneurs living in rural Ireland.
The initiatives new cycle has opened this week and is looking for 50 entrants to take part from across rural Ireland.
The 6 month programme includes training and mentorship from experienced and successful female entrepreneurs.
Longford woman Lyndsay Considine of LC Digital took part in last year's cycle.
The Drumlish based business woman says ACORNS has helped her to expand her company.
" So it really brings you from zero to hero in terms of being a business person, because I think a lot women and I can speak for myself here that start up their own business you are a bit of sea, especially if you don't come from a business background which I didn't, So just to get that business person mentality and mindset."
