A motorist is to face court following their arrest by local Garda in Longford Town.
Members of the Roscommon/Longford Roads Policing Unit stopped a vehicle at Longford Shopping centre yesterday afternoon.
The driver was found to be an Unaccompanied learner driver.

A subsequent road side fluid test conducted on the motorist showed a positive result for Cannabis
The driver was arrested at the scene and the vehicle impounded.
They'll face a court summons at a later date.
