Longford Gardaí have cracked down on dangerous driving throughout the county this week.
The roads policing unit has stopped, fined and seized the vehicles of multiple motorists in the area over the past number of days.
The violations range from speeding to driving without insurance and tax.
Gardai seized four separate vehicles across the county yesterday for lack of insurance with one motorist driving unaccompanied on a learners permit with no Insurance, tax or NCT.
Earlier this week, a motorist in Aughnacliff was detected driving at 89 kilometres per hour in a 50 zone.
While another motorist was stopped outside of Longford Town for driving over 115 kph in a 60kph zone, with court proceedings set to follow for the driver.
