Gardai in Longford are investigating after an incident of violent disorder in the town yesterday.
It's understood violence broke out among a large crowd that had gathered in McEoin Park between 4:30pm and 5:30pm yesterday evening.

The crowd dispersed as gardai arrived at the scene and no arrests were made.

However investigations are continuing including the examination of CCTV footage.
