Longford gardaí are investigating an alleged sexual assault in the town yesterday morning.
The alleged incident took place in the Farnagh area on the outskirts of the town and was reported to Gardaí early yesterday morning.
The victim, in her late 30s, made a complaint to gardaí soon after the alleged incident is believed to have occurred.

According to Gardaí, all parties involved are cooperating with the investigation.
No arrests have yet been made and Gardaí say their inquiries are ongoing.
