Gardai in Longford are investigating after a motorist was found to be driving without a licence or insurance.
The car was stopped by Gardaí from the Roads Policing Unit at a routine checkpoint in the town and the driver was subsequently tested for intoxicants.
It was then discovered that they had cocaine and cannabis in their system and they were arrested and the vehicle was seized.
Court proceedings are expected to follow.
