Longford holiday resort welcomes one millionth guest

A popular local holiday resort welcomed its one millionth guest on Friday as it celebrates five years in business this year.
Center Parcs in Longford marked its five-year anniversary in July and management say it's surpassed expectations in terms of visitors.
The company is a major employer in the Shannonside region with over 1,200 staff currently on its books.

Darragh Feighery, who's Village Director at the facility, says the company has commenced construction of a new development.
The new development will see 198 new lodges installed at the Longford site.
