A house in Longford sold earlier this year had the highest price paid across the Shannonside region in the first three months of this year.
A survey was carried out by the Irish Independent for the first quarter of 2022 aimed at finding out how much property prices had increased across the country.
It showed that across the counties of Roscommon, Leitrim and Longford the highest price paid for a property so far this year was in the Farnagh area of Longford where a house sold for €973,000.
A home sold in Kiltoom in Roscommon had the highest cost in the county so far this year at €380,000.
The most expensive home sold so far this year in Leitrim was in the Attirory area of Carrick-on-Shannon where the cost was €350,000.
