A Longford father and son are celebrating their good fortune this week after hitting the jackpot twice in online agri-machinery draws.
Shane Keenan says he and his father had begun buying tickets in the last year or so, but never expected to end up winning around €400,000 worth of equipment inside a two week period.
The ticket bought for a draw on the 14th of this month resulted in them winning a Hitachi digger and low-loader, a John Deere tractor, and a trailer.
They bought another ticket last Sunday and ended up winning 2 John Deere tractors, as well as a slurry tank and agitator.
Shane says some of the machinery will be used in his father's contracting work, and other pieces will be sold.
He says it's been a great boost for everyone involved, and neighbours have been delighted for them as well.
