Two motorists are to face court for separate traffic breaches after they were stopped by Longford Gardaí yesterday.
One driver was stopped outside of Longford Town after they were recorded driving 30 kilometres an hour over the speed limit on the Park Road.
Gardaí conducting speed checks on the road clocked the motorist travelling at 80 kilometres an hour in a 50km zone.
Using the Garda Mobility App, it was found that the motorist was also disqualified from driving.
Meanwhile, Gardaí in Edgeworthstown pulled a vehicle over in the town yesterday.
The motorist was found to be driving while disqualified.
Both vehicles were impounded and the two drivers will now face court.
