Longford has been named as one of the best towns to live in Ireland.
The research by switcher-dot-ie looked at various factors, including local amenities, broadband speeds, mobile coverage and crime rates.
Longford was found to be the cheapest place to live, with good access to schools, supermarkets and leisure facilities, with reliable broadband and 5G connectivity also highlighted in the study.
On the downside, the Switcher.ie report highlighted the town's higher crime rate, with that factor knocking it from the top spot.
Castlebar in Mayo had the highest work-life balance score, and was named as the town with the highest number of cafés per 1-thousand residents.
