A popular Longford Care Home has applied for a number of small extensions to their facility.
Laurel Lodge Nursing Home in Longford Town provides care to 113 residents requiring long and short term respite.
The plans lodged by managing director Alan Hynes are seeking permission for 4 small extension comprising of 2 to the south of the centre, one to the South-East and one to an internal court yard.

Also included in the plans are an application to retain permission for a shipping container currently in use as a laundry and the retention of permission for revisions to the internal layout of the centre.
Longford County Planners will decide on the issue in October.
