The official launch of the first ever Longford Pride event will take place tomorrow evening. The launch, commencing at Longford Library at 7 pm, will be opened by Longford Cathaoirleach Cllr Colm Murray. Speakers on the night will include Sinn Féin local elections candidate Barry Campion, Pride committee member Lorelei Fox-Roberts, and Sam McGarry.
The county's first ever LGBTQ+ Pride takes place on Saturday, 15th of June in Longford town. There will be a craft market on the day with the parade starting at 4 pm from Connolly Barracks. A post-parade celebration will take place at Pig Lane Market afterwards with an after-party in Valentine's Bar later that evening.
