Longford Roller Rink are calling for volunteers to join them today to help breakdown the sports facility.
The building is Ireland's only competitive standard indoor roller rink, but is now set to be shut down following notice to vacate the premises from the landlord.
The Longford indoor Roller Rink in the Mastertech Business Park on the Athlone Road, has operated as Ireland's primary centre for inline hockey over the last 7 years.

Management at the facility are now urging anyone available to join them at the centre from this morning to aid in the dismantling of the rink and associated infrastructure.
