Longford Safety Partnership consultations to begin this evening

The first of two public consultation meetings to develop a safety plan for Longford gets underway this evening.

Longford Local Community Safety Partnership hopes to bring together community representatives, businesses, councillors and State services such as Gardaí and the HSE the implement the strategy.

A meeting to shape the Policy of this new group will take place at Edgeworthstown library this evening at 7pm while a second meeting will be held tomorrow evening at 5:30pm at Longford Library

Co-Chair and local Councillor Seamus Butler is urging everyone to attend this week's meetings.
