A Longford school is celebrating after securing a top European prize for promoting the use of digital technology among staff and students.
Mercy Secondary School, Ballymahon has been awarded with a European Award for Digital Education Practices as part of the Digital Schools Awards European Programme.
The scheme encourages and recognises innovation, collaboration and skills development in digital technology amongst schools
The school was awarded for its excellence in the areas of Leadership, Collaboration and Networking, Infrastructure and Equipment,as well as the digital self-reflection tool SELFIE.
