Co. Longford holds the highest average price of a home in the region.
That's according to a recent report compiled by Daft.ie which outlined house prices for the final three months of 2024.
Daft.ie provided a breakdown for the average price of a home across the country.
In Longford, prices in the final three months of 2024 were 11% higher than the previous year.
The average price of a home in the county is now €205,000, the highest in the region.
This is followed by Roscommon, where the cost of a home has increased by 4% over the last three months and is priced, on average, at €204,000.
Leitrim is the county with the cheapest market, with a home costing just over €193,000.
Nationally, outside the five main cities of Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway and Waterford, inflation ranged from 11.1% in Leinster to 5.3% in Connacht-Ulster.
The number of second-hand homes available to buy nationwide on December 1st stood at less than 10,500, down 15% year-on-year and the lowest total ever recorded in a series extending back to January 2007.
