The victim of a shooting in Longford earlier this week has been released from hospital.
PJ Finnan was in the downstairs living room in a house in Springlawn at around 7:50pm on Wednesday, when shots were fired through the window.
He was taken to the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar, where he was reported to have serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The scene of the shooting was technically examined on Wednesday night and early yesterday.
A car was found burnt out nearby, which it is suspected was a getaway vehicle.
No arrests have been made as Gardai try to establish a motive.

PJ is now out of hospital and is said to be doing well at this time.
