Students from a north Longford school are representing Ireland at the Junk Kouture world finals in the Middle East this afternoon.
'Back to the Future' by Joshua Osabuehien and Solomon Eduard of Cnoc Mhuire in Granard is one of nine creations to represent Ireland at the first ever Junk Kouture World Final in Abu Dhabi.
The outfit is described as a futuristic coat of armour against climate change made from an old laundry basket, car wipers, and an old shower mat.
The event is taking place at the Etihad Arena and will see a total of 60 designs and their teams from secondary schools across - USA, UK, France, Italy, Ireland and UAE taking part.
