The scene of a bomb threat at a Longford Supermarket has been reopened this afternoon.
Dunnes Stores on the Dublin Road received a call around 6 o'clock yesterday evening making the threat.
Management evacuated staff and customers from the supermarket immediately.
Emergency services attended the scene immediately and a thorough search was conducted, with no suspicious device found.
Dunnes Stores and the surrounding Car Park had been secured overnight by Gardaí as they awaited assistance from the Defence Forces.
Gardaí have now released the scene back to management.
