The Longford town LEA has the second-highest Covid incidence rate in the country.
232 cases were confirmed in the wider Longford town area in the last two weeks - resulting in an incidence rate of 1445- just behind Waterford city South at 1482 which is the highest in the country.
Half of the country's six worst Covid hotspots are in Co Waterford.
Waterford City South is the hardest hit area in Ireland, with 1,482 cases per 100,000 people in the space of 14 days.
That's just ahead of the Longford local electoral area at 1445.

118 cases were confirmed in the Granard electoral area and 94 in the Ballymahon M.D.
120 cases have been confirmed in the Carrick-On-Shannon LEA in the two weeks up to November 1st as well as 66 cases in Ballinamore's M.D and 111 in the Manorhamilton electoral area.
159 cases have been confirmed in the Roscommon town LEA and its incidence rate is slightly above the national average.
89 cases were confirmed in the Boyle M.D and 138 in the Athlone LEA.
On the Westmeath side of the River Shannon in Athlone, 82 cases were recorded in the last fortnight in the Athlone-Moate M.D.
