Longford County Council is urging motorists and pedestrians to travel with care as traffic lights in the county town will be out of order for the next number of days
The traffic lights at the post office junction and the pedestrian crossing on Ballymahon Street have not been working properly for a number of days.
According to the local authority, an issue has been detected with the light's controllers, and it is currently being addressed by council maintenance staff.
The lights are currently set to flashing amber, meaning traffic and pedestrians can proceed with caution.
In a statement to Shannonside FM news, Longford County Council says the issue will not be resolved until the end of next week.
