Walk in vaccine clinics at the Longford Vaccination centre have been branded a significant success by the Minister for Health.
Speaking at the centre this week, Minister Stephen Donnelley described the walk in vaccination days as a brilliant innovation in getting the younger population their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.
Longford has run three walk in clinics over the last number of weeks, where anyone over the age of 16 can receive their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
While numbers attending subsequent clinics have dropped, Minister Donnelley says the initiative will continue in Longford in order to see younger cohorts vaccinated:
