Members of the Longford-Westmeath Argentina society have expressed their heartbreak at the death of football icon Diego Maradona.
The 1986 World Cup winner died on Wednesday afternoon after suffering a heart attack.
The Shannonside-based group is one of a handful in Ireland that celebrates the shared history of Irish people who went to South America and Argentina to begin new lives over the last 100 years.
It's believed that 40% of all people who claim Irish heritage in Argentina have links to County Longford.
