A Longford woman is encouraging people to support the Irish Cancer Society this Daffodil Day.
Sinead Breslin, who is from Drumlish, was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer 5 years ago at the age of 22.
Following her treatment, which involved the removal of a tumour, one ovary, one fallopian tube and her appendix, she was granted funding through the Irish Cancer Society to help with fertility treatment
Speaking to Let's Talk, Sinead is urging people to help support the work of the charity this Friday.
'There is so many wonderful supports that the Irish cancer society provides for people and I wasn't aware of really the extent that Daffodil Day does and approaching I would really urged people to donate whatever they can because it really does benefit individuals and family members of people that you probably know.'
