Women in Monaghan were most satisfied with the time spent talking about the physical and mental health at check-ups during pregnancy. Women in Longford, on the other hand, were the least satisfied.
HIQA's National Maternity Experience Survey looked at the provision of maternity care by GPs, midwives and practice nurses.
The majority of women locally met with GPs, ranging from 90 percent in Longford to 94 percent in Roscommon.
In the findings, Monaghan was found to have the highest proportion of women who were most satisfied with the time spent discussing their physical health, at 64 percent.
Longford is at the bottom of the table, with just 36 percent. That compares with Leitrim at 42 percent, Roscommon at 43 percent and Cavan at 44 percent.
Women in Monaghan were also most satisfied with discussions around their mental health at 51 percent.
Next highest locally was Roscommon at 42 percent, Cavan at 41 percent, Longford at 36 percent and just 32 per cent of women in Leitrim were satisfied with discussions around mental health during their pregnancy check-ups.
