Longford's Mall almost fully re-opened following storm damage

The Mall in Longford is now almost fully re-opened following significant damage caused by Storm Éowyn over two weeks ago.

A number of trees have been down along the track recently however most have now been cleared.

The popular amenity in Longford is now fully re-opened apart from the loop at the far side of the park where some trees remain down.

Local Cllr Martin Monaghan has been paying tribute to people who have helped with the recovery efforts to date.
